Self Imports

The firm began importing in the late 70’s when the global market was controlled from Hamburg, Germany. Imports of various A.P.I’s were undertaken and the firm was indenting agents for at least a dozen of German and Japanese companies.

The A.P.I’s were imported against specific requirements in case of odd products whereas regular stocks were maintained of regularly moving products.

By mid 1980’s China emerged as a very strong source of A.P.I’s since world over all the countries started directly importing products from China which resulted in cost effectiveness and convenience.

The firm has been importing from China since the last two decades. Regular imports are from many reputed European and Chinese manufacturers, Import Export corporations and Trading conglomerates.

The company is importing from plants which have the highest global quality certifications including USFDA, EDMF and WHO-GMP keeping in line with its policy of providing highest quality products and services to all its customers.

Stocks are maintained at its warehouses at Bhiwandi (near Mumbai), Kolkata and Ahmedabad.


Imports Indenting

Prime Pharma has started a new division/ line of activity – namely import indenting. of active pharmaceutical ingredients / intermediates. Here basically Prime Pharma acts as a sourcing agent and sources various active pharmaceutical ingredients / intermediates from their foreign manufacturer / supplier as and when required by the buyer. Over the last 3- 4 years we have established quality conscious and competitive manufacturers and suppliers. These are mainly of Chinese and European origin.

The drive is on new molecules and products from plants having world class approvals which are in demand due to emergence of India in the regulated market namely USA and Europe.

Prime Pharma is in the process of applying for registrations of active pharmaceutical ingredients from their overseas manufacturers from China and Europe. The company will be exclusively representing them in India. Prime Pharma is adding a wide range of products from various overseas sources which it wishes to register in India. Also the company is working towards penultimate and intermediates for active pharmaceutical ingredients which can be offered to manufacturers of active pharmaceutical ingredients.
